France Back-row Fulgence Ouedrago has ended speculation over his future by signing an undisclosed contract extension with Montpellier.
Rumours suggested Ouedraogo, who is captain of the Top14 side, could be on his way out of Stade Yves-du-Manoir, with Toulon, Racing and Stade Franšais all touted as possible destinations.
But the 27-year-old, who was called up to Philippe Saint-Andre's France squad to face Tonga on Monday, will remain with Montpellier.
The length of the contract extension has not been disclosed, but Midi Olympique had suggested this week that the skipper was to commit to three more seasons.
The club is also reportedly seeking to retain the services of fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc, whose future is currently under question.
