Former Argentina hooker Mario Ledesma has signed a three-year extension to his contract as forwards coach of Montpellier.
Ledesma - who arrived in Montpellier from his first coaching position at Stade Français in 2012 - has had a significant impact on the 2011 Top 14 finalists, who currently sit one point behind league leaders Toulon
The Argentine has done an excellent job - along with head coach Fabien Galthié - in transforming the Montpellier pack into a formidable unit, as seen in the 40-point thrashing Ledesma's former club, Clermont, last weekend.
In other news from Montpellier, lock Michaël De Marco has been ruled out for a month with knee ligament injury. The injury leaves les Héraultais short on second row options since Jim Hamilton is also injured and Sitaleki Timani has yet to arrive from Australia.
