Maxime Medard scored on his comeback for Toulouse to help the French champions to a 27-9 win over Montpellier on Friday.
Despite missing 15 players due to international call ups and injury, Toulouse got the job done.
Toulouse led 14-9 at half time thanks to a try from Medard in his first game back since rupturing tendons in his knee in February.
Luke McAlister and Montpellier's Martin Buston Moyano traded penalties to leave the scores locked at 9-9 after 34 minutes but Medard struck just before the half-time whistle.
It was all Toulouse in the second half with McAlister keeping the scoreboard ticking before Fijian wing Timoci Matanavou secured victory with a late try.
