Out of time: Billy Twelvetrees

Billy Twelvetrees missed England's final training session on Tuesday before Stuart Lancaster names his side for the first Test against New Zealand.

The Gloucester centre has been nursing an ankle injury and having missed training all week is unlikely to be selected to play at Eden Park.

Twelvetrees' absence should hand an opportunity to Bath centre Kyle Eastmond to start at 12 against the All Blacks, with Luther Burrell only linking up with the squad on Wednesday after playing in the Premiership Final.

Eastmond should partner Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi in midfield to win only his third cap, leaving England rather untested with one of Freddie Burns or Danny Cipriani starting at fly-half.
