England full-back Mike Brown has paid tribute to the efforts of his teammates after their 13-10 win over Ireland on Saturday.
Brown has been in excellent form this season, backing up a string of impressive domestic performances for Harlequins with a run of fine displays at Test level. He provided the assist for Danny Care's try at Twickenham, and won the Man of the Match award.
"Obviously every game is huge for us," Brown told the BBC.
"They were unbeaten and we wanted to set a marker today.
"All the boys were outstanding: one to 15, the guys coming off the bench, awesome, we're really happy.
"We were pretty happy at half time. Just stick to what we were doing well and just finish off the phases.
"We were just happy to score, we were on the ropes a bit then so that was a massive momentum changer for us.
"I'm just happy we finished it off and got the win."
