Australia will reportedly face the Great Britain Rugby League team at Wembley Stadium on December 6 next year.

Australia will reportedly face the Great Britain Rugby League team at Wembley Stadium on December 6 next year.

The one-off fixture between the two codes will take place following the conclusion of the Wallabies' November Tests, with all players earning $AUS 50,000 each according to the Australian Daily Telegraph.

England Rugby League boss Nigel Wood is supposedly desperate to cash in on the effect of the Rugby League World Cup - after matches were held in London - by adding the fixture against the Wallabies.

The likes of Quade Cooper and Israel Folau will there go up against their cross-code counterparts, including Sam Tomkins.

Australia CEO Bill Pulver reportedly agreed the deal with Wood after meeting in London during the Wallabies' recent tour, with each party set to earn $AUS 5million each should the fixture be finalised next year.

The fixture will allegedly see one half played with Union rules and 15 players, and the second played using 13 players with League rules in a hybrid game similar to when Wigan faced Bath.
