Gloucester have announced that blindside flanker Tom Savage will captain the English side in their clash with Japan on Tuesday.

Director of Rugby Nigel Davies names a strong line-up to take on the Brave Blossoms, with only Matt Cox and Mike Tindall retaining their places.

The XV features five internationals in Andy Hazell, Jimmy Cowan, Jonny May, James Simpson-Daniel and also Tindall. Charlie Sharples is on the bench as Jonny May starts on the left wing.
