Clermont prop Thomas Domingo looks certain to miss France's November Tests after injuring his knee on Friday.

Domingo damaged the meniscus of his left knee during training ahead of Clermont's Heineken Cup clash with Harlequins on Sunday.

The 28-year-old, who has 27 Test caps for les Bleus, requires arthroscopic surgery and will be sidelined for at least a month.

National coach Philippe Saint-André will now have to name a replacement ahead the France's first Test, against the All Blacks at the Stade de France on November 9. Domingo is unlikely to be ready for the subsequent clashes with Tonga and South Africa.

The injury is likely to see Castres prop Yannick Forestier start for France while Domingo's Clermont team-mate Vincent Debaty is expected to be called up as a replacement.

The French squad has already been deprived of scrum-halves Maxime Machenaud (injury) and Morgan Parra (suspension).
