England prop Alex Corbisiero admits the national side are looking to get back on track in South America next month.

After their Six Nations campaign ended in disaster with a heavy 30-3 loss against Wales, Stuart Lancaster's side face the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday before taking on a South American XV in Uruguay and two Test matches against Argentina.

Corbisiero has endured a nightmare season with injury for London Irish and England only making a handful of appearances, but is now fit and available to return to the Test side.

"This is a massive chance for redemption after what happened against Wales. I was not involved in that game but I can tell you just how incredibly frustrating it was to watch," said Corbisiero.

"We need to get back on track and prove that result was just a blip.

"There are a lot of things we will want to improve on from that game, but we shouldn't forget that our previous results had been very good and we have been doing the right things and moving in the right direction under Stuart Lancaster. We want to show that this summer."

Against a Barbarians squad littered with international stars including Sergio Parisse, Kahn Fotuali'i and James Hook, Corbisiero says that the England squad will be taking Sunday's clash very seriously.

"We need to approach this game like it is a Test match," stated Corbisiero.

"They have a squad littered with international players and while everyone wants to see running rugby, we have to make sure when we do that we have the patterns in place to do it at the right times.

"We need to find the right balance between entertaining the crowd and being clinical to make sure we win the game."
