Scotland v Ireland: Craig Gilroy

Ruled out: Craig Gilroy

Ulster winger Craig Gilroy was not considered for the Ireland squad for their upcoming tour to the United States and Canada due to an injury.

Gilroy has had an ongoing groin complaint and his province, who are preparing for this week's PRO12 final, confirmed he would not be touring.

"Following discussion and ongoing assessment with the national coaching and medical staff, it has been decided that it is in the best interest of the player to withdraw him from this summer's Ireland tour of North America," read a statement.

"This is to allow him an appropriate period of rest and rehabilitation ahead of the new season."
