Argentina call Bosch and Amorosino

Marcelo Bosch in training

Recalled: Marcelo Bosch

Argentina have added centre Marcelo Bosch and full-back Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino to their squad ahead of the coming week's fixture against France.

Bosch and Amorosino offer head coach Santiago Phelan fresh options for a back-line that is now missing Felipe Contepomi. The veteran was carried off during their victory over Wales with an injury that could spell the end of his Test career.

Also missing from the squad due to injury is prop Juan Gomez so coach Phelan has added Biarritz front-rower Francisco Gomez Kodela and Stade Francais lock Nahuel Lobo for extra depth.

@Ramage, they weren't part of the team against Wales because Argentina agreed with french and british clubs (where most argentinian players play) not to ask for more than 2 players per club per test match. Especially in France there are many clubs which have more than 2 argentinian internationals playing in their respective starting XV. So in order to prevent conflicts with the clubs related to the release of players for the next test matches and tournaments, Argentina's head coach is giving other young amateur players from Argentina the opportunity to gain experience at international test level.

@Ramage, I don't know well the reason, but French clubs only allow two players from the same team to play on each game.
