Ma'a Nonu: Expects Argentina to spring a surprise

New Zealand centre Ma'a Nonu insists the All Blacks will not be underestimating the Pumas in Saturday's clash in Wellington.

Nonu, who started the Tests against the Wallabies in the number 13 jersey, returns to his more familiar inside centre role after Sonny Bill Williams' departure to Japan.

Nonu feels that although Argentina have a good kicking game-plan, they can spring a surprise by unleashing a running game with their back-line.

"They defended well against the South Africans," he told Sportal.

"I think they've got a few moves up their sleeves to pull out on Saturday.

"Sometimes if there are no holes you have got to make one really. You can't always go wide, you just have to bust it down."

The 30-year-old also said he was excited to resume his partnership with Smith, who he has not played alongside since last year's World Cup final.
