If there is one thing I know rugby can be vastly different from one game to the next. Twice in both 1999 and 2007 we fairly thumped the French in a master class of rugby by 50 points only to lose the next time in October to the very same team. Yes Ireland is not France and the ABs should and probably will win, but all the same my advice would be to expect the unexpected.

It is true obrien was a menace and so was best. Very impressed with him as a hooker, leader work rate etc. But they are 2 players. i noticed the irish getting to the breakdown quicker in the first 20 and frustratingly taking ball from key players. Clean out does need to be consistently better for the abs especially noting the conditions. That said all blacks will probably still play an open game until they have to resort to the pick and go.

O'brien got 4 turnovers. Impressive in a side that got a 40+ point drubbing.

I'd say he'll get over himself by lying at the bottom of rucks and illegally slowing ball while reffing the game at the same time.

jonesy2 I agree, surely that scoreline suggests they weren't short of ball or struggling to penetrate the defence.
