Yes, kind words from the best 10 ever about his opposite 10 who is a seriously good 10 in all departments, what Dan is really saying is that he expects us to come out fighting, he is right. What he hasn't said is that he has been speaking with Brad Thorn and his team know that Ireland have very very stupidly once again picked the wrong 9, in the ponderous Murray, and that the AB's will soak up the early fire and then quite simply put Ireland to bed...For this one I think it's sweet dreams Ireland, even though I'll be up early and hoping to see history made. Like the bookies I believe Ireland have an 8% chance of winning...

Dan is such a gentleman when it comes to praising the abilities of other players and teams.

What he dosent say is the transition from European club competition to playing the All Blacks( or SA or Aus) is massive abnd beyond most players and teams most of the time.

The results will be a bit closer in m ost of the SH vs NH derbies this weekend as the NH players come to grips with playing the 3 best teams in the world and adjust to the skill, speed, athleticism of those 3 teams.( e.g : they have all been training this week to SLOW down the SH teams ball as much as poss)
