Good team, no doubt.
But since you make the point that it is a club and country team, I can't help suspecting maybe the PR staff don't watch enough Currie Cup or Top14. Only 2 "bubbling unders" for SA and Fra (and not necessarily the right picks IMO), meanwhile NH Saints alone get 3 players mentioned....Hmmm...
I'm no expert, but wldn't many Sth Africans put D Rossouw above Matfield this season? Or might quite a few Frenchmen not put Bonnaire above Hari?
Also, I realise backrow competition is fierce, but no mention for Gorgodze, JMFLobbe, or the just-back-from-injury-but-still-sensational H Brussow?
Guess these kinds of debate are the stuff of long evenings down the pub! Much fun to be had all round :-)

Cian Healy Did a job on Tonga'huia in the Heineken Cup final...
Have to say, although Ashton did look good on paper, he wouldn't make my top 10 wingers of the year, let alone my team of the year...

Love to see a game between the 1st team and the bubbling under team. 30 incredible players this year, any one of the runner up players could seemlessly transfer to the 1st team.

Ok I get most of the choices but Parisse surely has to take 8? He was brilliant all year for italy and Stade, no way Read was better?

Good team.
For my dream team I would swap Brian O'Driscoll for Conrad Smith, Thierry Dusautoir for David Pocock, Jerome Kaino for Sean O'Brien, and have Owen Franks, Bismarck du Plessis, and Cian Healy in the front row.
Wishing all the team at PR the best for the festive season!!
