The French Barbarians beat Japan 65-41 in a friendly match at the Oceane Stadium in Le Havre on Sunday.

The William Servat-led home side ran in nine tries to Japan's six, with Hugo Bonneval, Camille Lopez, Benjamin Lapeyre (2), Antonie Claassen, Heini Adams and Clement Mazzonetto (2) crossing for the French as well as being awarded a penalty try.

Hirotoki Onozawa, Fumiaki Tanaka, Yu Tamura, Akihito Yamada (2) and Go Aruga responded.
