Italy coach Jacques Brunel has named two uncapped players in his 30-man squad for the team's November tests.
Italy plays Tonga in Brescia on November 10 before hosting world champions New Zealand in Rome a week later. They then meet Australia in Florence on November 24.
Benetton Treviso flanker Francesco Minto was called up for the summer tour, but never played because of a muscle problem. Club-mate Tommaso Iannone is the other new addition in the squad.
Veteran lock Marco Bortolami misses the tests following last month's surgery on his shoulder, which will see him sidelined for at least six months.
