Three weeks: Siale Piutau

Three Tonga players have been slapped with differing levels of suspensions following their IRB Pacific Nations Cup match with Canada in Kingston last weekend.

David Halaifonua (six weeks), Siale Piutau and Edmund Aholelei (both three weeks) appeared before independent Judicial Officer, Alan Hudson.

Halaifonua was cited by David Pelton for a dangerous tackle offence in contravention of Law 10.4(e) in the 16th minute of the game, Piutau for striking an opponent with his fist contrary to law 10.4(a) in the 33rd minute while Aholelei was in the dock for striking an opponent with his fist contrary to Law 10.4(a) in the 32nd minute.
