Four changes from Hadden

Autumn bow: Taylor slots in at number eight

Scotland have been forced into four changes for Saturday's third and final autumn Test against Canada at Pittodrie.

Goal-kicking full-back Chris Paterson, winger Thom Evans and flanker Jason White have been omitted after suffering injuries during last weekend's 14-10 defeat to South Africa.

After missing that game and the previous Saturday's defeat to New Zealand, the fit again Simon Taylor replaces Ally Hogg at number eight.

Also drafted in are wings Simon Webster and Nikki Walker, with Rory Lamont moving to full-back.

Max Evans is included in a senior Scotland 22 for the first time after being named on the bench.

"There is an element of freshening up the squad and it's also an opportunity to look at certain blends ahead of the Six Nations but, as ever, the selection is about winning the game," said Head coach Frank Hadden.

Scotland: 15 Rory Lamont, 14 Simon Webster, 13 Ben Cairns, 12 Nick De Luca, 11 Nikki Walker, 10 Phil Godman, 9 Mike Blair (c), 8 Simon Taylor, 7 John Barclay, 6 Al Strokosch, 5 Jim Hamilton, 4 Nathan Hines, 3 Euan Murray, 2 Ross Ford, 1 Allan Jacobsen.
