Barbarians being a one off team will lack cohesion and plans. They will depend more on individual brillience than team play. The quality is there but to play for 80 at the required intensity???

I'm really looking forward to this, I want to see how the England side handle themselves before, during and after the match and how SL handles the press. Great experience for now - 2015

@benski - bwa ha ha, great analogy! With Smit at the helm they are sure to flounder with his fat axxe dragging them down.

markpat - what about Contepomi, Muliaina, and Afoa... pretty decent players in my opinion. However Tindall, Sackey and Balshaw are rubbish so I'll let you off

That's a great squad. I'd be a little worried at the half-backs though. Donald will try and play a flat-line game, a few loops but mostly lateral tight passes. If the Baa-baa's are anyway in the lead after 60 minutes I'd expect their bench to close out the game comfortably.

I think that's quite a disappointing Barbarians lineup compared to previous years. No-one there that I';m particularly excited about seeing. I'm struggling to actually see who I'd class as a top quality player at all.

unimpressed with Donald since his arrival at Bath, add Tindall to the midfield mix and there'll be some cold hands on the wing (and in this weather too)

Evenly matched, I reckon. An ungelled (and elderly!) Baa-Baas squad, versus a England team missing some of its key players.
A great opportunity for some "fringe" players to step up and prove their worth. I'm really looking forward to it!

Glad to see england's secret weapon at 12, that ought to stop the ball getting to Sackey, Balshaw and Muliaina :)

That's quite a squad, if they gel they'll run circles round an England B squad...although with so many ex B squad players stepping up to the A squad England should be able to give them a tough time about it...

This is a real coffin dodgers side, average age 104, still, should go well with smitty rarking them all up in the changing rooms beforehand.

Should beat a weak England side.
