Scotland international Stuart Hogg admits his squad face a "massive challenge" in the Commonwealth Games as he awaits the big kick-off.
The Scots, who also included Roddy Grant, Richie Vernon and Sean Lamont, have been pooled alongisde New Zealand, Canada and Barbados.
Hogg is retained in the squad from the London Sevens and he revealed that the prospect of running out on Saturday on home soil is exciting.
"Playing sevens is a massive challenge, but it's one all the boys are looking forward to," the lively Warriors full-back told glasgowwarriors.org.
"We've trained well over the last couple of weeks and we're not taking this chance for granted, it's a massive occasion and we've got to buy into it.
"There is no better feeling than pulling on a Scotland jersey. We've got a job to do at the weekend and we'll need to go out there and work incredibly hard for each other. The main thing is we enjoy ourselves and enjoy the occasion and I'm really looking forward to it."
