Scotland have called up Mark Robertson and Andrew Turnbull for the fifth leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, which is in Wellington next weekend.
The pair are replacing John Houston and Scott Wight, who fly home following the Las Vegas Sevens, a tournament Scotland struggled at.
"We're delighted to be able to call on the experience of two specialist sevens players to join us in Wellington," said coach Stephen Gemmell.
"John, unfortunately has suffered an injury to his hand and Scott, with the extra week between the two tournaments, will now return to Glasgow Warriors duties."
Scotland have been drawn against Canada, Argentina and USA in New Zealand.
Scotland Sevens squad: Scott Riddell, Finlay Gillies, Struan Dewar, Alex Glashan, Colin Gregor (capt), Mark Robertson, Lee Jones, Michael Maltman, Russell Weir, Andrew Turnbull, James Johnstone, Gregor Young.
