kiwilad and sshkboy - sorry my Taranaki humour lost on you; but I stand by my comment re ABlacks' all the trophies that count' - they have the RWC.
Not tri-nations, and at Super level that is held by the Reds, no NZ win in that competition since Crusaders 2008. Having 10 Super Rugby titles is impressive, but just one from the last five doesn''t look so good.
The Bledisloe Cup - a two team comp as are the Dave Gallaher Trophy (v France), Freedom Cup (v SA), Hillary Shield (v England).
Sevens is irrelevant to the 15-man game, very few crossover players, becoming a separate sport.
I'd like to see an NZ Exiles team, I watch Euro/UK rugby as 'retro rugby' love seeing the old/retired NZ/SA/Oz players still out their well past their Super use-by dates, some old Taranaki ones in there Paul Tito, Chris Masoe so many years since they faded from the NZ scene.

Tha_Mai, You raise an interesting point, Perhaps the NZRFU should have an x pats team in the Heineken Cup, with all of the Kiwi players in the tournament, I feel certain it would only be a year or two before that Cup too rests with the NZRFU.
I may flick them an email, great idea, they keep control of a few players wanting an OE in Europe, raise some Xtra cash and grab another Cup!!!
Feel certain your countrymen will thank you for your incredibly selfless thinking.

That has to go down as one of the most pointless comments of all time. But if we do want to talk about the AB's when they are in Europe perhaps we could mention that they have achieved the grand slam the last three times they have attempted it

Super Rugby and tri-nations are competed for by just 3 countries.
A New Zealand side has yet to win the Six Nations, Heineken, Top 14 etc . . . !
Apart from RWC, a big fish in a small pool in terms of trophies/cups. I do expect an NZ team to win the ITM Cup this year.
