@ Goldenstatenba? "I don't think the NZ rugby machine is going yet". Mate the NZ Rugby machine has been at full throttle for 100+ years.

Halai looks good for the future.

I don't think the NZ rugby machine is going yet.

I think that the next four years is going to be very tough as there are so many good sides right now and many positive changes.

Lets see how France do today

@sheridan Ireland has a 7's team they just aren't considered a 1st tier nation and as such don't autoatically qualify for tournaments they have competed at europian and worldcup 7's events with limited success

Yea I just cannot understand why Ireland don't have a team? They even have a slightly larger player base than NZ, there will be a lot of talent around.

First of all it has been accepted into the Olympics & equally important it's a proven breeding ground for young talent & a great way for players to improve their fitness & skill set..

Its an absolute disgrace that Ireland has no involvement in this form of rugby, we're losing out big time. The IRFU need to stop patting themselves on the back thinking what a great job they're doing re. the provinces etc. and get the act together. Canada and bloody Kenya have teams in it for god sake!!! No excuses.
