Junior Springbok fly-half Handre Pollard is in line for a return to action on Friday after training with the Bulls on Monday.
Pollard has been sidelined by a shoulder injury, but the youngster could face Griquas later this week after being given the all clear by team doctor Org Strauss.
Wiaan Liebenberg (concussion) and Jacques du Plessis (shoulder) are also in contention for the match but will not practice until Tuesday after picking up knocks against Western Province on Saturday. However, winger Akona Ndungane will once again miss out due to a hamstring strain.
Basil Short (knee), Francois Hougaard (ankle), Cornell Hess (knee), Deon Stegmann (shoulder), Arno Botha (knee), Pierre Spies (bicep), Louis Fouchè (knee) are all struggling with long-term injuries and will not be back out on the park for three to six months.
