Wilhelm Steenkamp: Set for knee operation
The Blue Bulls injury list continues to grow after it was confirmed that lock Wilhelm Steenkamp will undergo an operation on Wednesday.
Steenkamp will have arthroscopic surgery on his knee and Jacques Potgieter has also been confirmed to undergo a groin operation on 31 October.
According to the medical report from team doctor Org Strauss, numerous other players will undergo rehab and recovery in the coming weeks.
Centre Jan Serfontein injured ankle ligaments and will be sidelined for at least six weeks, while prop Dawie Steyn will be out for between eight to 12 weeks due to a fractured wrist.
Captain and flanker Dewald Potgieter will also not be allowed to make any contact till 10 December to recover from a chronic AC joint injury.
Fellow loose forwards Deon Stegmann (arm fracture, three to four weeks) and Pierre Spies (finger operation, four to six weeks) are already on the casualty list.
Meanwhile, Lionel Mapoe, who will be on loan from the Lions for the Super Rugby season, and Jano Vermaak have also beeen ruled out for a week each, due to concussion and an abductor muscle strain respectively.

I think this is a total no story ,The Bulls season is over ,with no games till 2013 .Plenty of time for them to recover ect .So who atm even cares
