Tim Whitehead Sharks 2012

Back from injury: Tim Whitehead

Sharks coach John Plumtree has made four changes to his starting XV for Saturday's clash with Western Province in Durban.

As announced earlier in the week, Keegan Daniel will revert to captain, having led the Sharks to successive finals - in last year's Currie Cup and this year's Super Rugby tournament.

There is just one change amongst the forwards, Pieter Dixon getting a start with Monde Hadebe taking his place on the bench.

An enforced switch has been made amongst the backs, with Paul Jordaan out and Tim Whitehead replacing him after recovering from a hand injury sustained against the Stormers in the Super Rugby semi-final at Newlands earlier this year.

In other back-line changes, Cobus Reinach has replaced Charl McLeod at scrum-half and Rosko Specman comes in for S'bura Sithole on the left wing.

Sharks: 15 Louis Ludik, 14 Odwa Ndungane, 13 Tim Whitehead, 12 Meyer Bosman, 11 Rosko Specman, 10 Riaan Viljoen, 9 Cobus Reinach, 8 Keegan Daniel (c), 7 Jean Deysel, 6 Jacques Botes, 5 Anton Bresler, 4 Jandre Marais, 3 Wiehahn Herbst, 2 Pieter Dixon, 1 Dale Chadwick.
Replacements: 16 Monde Hadebe, 17 Julian Redelinghuys, 18 Peet Marais, 19 Brynard Stander, 20 Charl McLeod, 21 Marius Joubert, 22 S'bura Sithole.
