Counties Manukau Steelers Head Coach Tana Umaga has been issued with a suspended two-match ban following his misconduct hearing.
The misconduct related to insulting comments directed at match officials following the Steelers match against Auckland on 4 September 2013.
"I value my role as a coach and a leader and have learned from this situation," said Umaga.
"It is important that I learn quickly from my mistakes to improve and develop as a coach."

Umaga was forced to explain to the NZRU about an ''alleged discussion'' he had with the match officials after the Steelers' 22-20 loss to Auckland at Eden Park on September 4.
Umaga criticised referee Glen Jackson for the way he had interacted with his captain Fritz Lee and suggested calls had gone against his side.
