End of the road: Rob Penney

Munster head coach Rob Penney questioned the lack of a crucial camera angle which could have confirmed Simon Zebo's disallowed try.

The Ireland wing appeared to have crossed the line but the TMO was unable to give the crucial score, as Munster eventually lost 15-16 to Glasgow to miss out on the Pro12 Final.

The defeat marked Penney's final game in charge of the Irish province, from which he now departs after two years in charge.

Summing up the disappointment of his squad, Penney was proud of their efforts but was left astonished that the technology wasn't available to possibly send his side through to the final in Dublin.

"It doesn't get much worse, obviously the whole squad is very, very disappointed but they gave it a good crack," said Penney.

"The boys really fronted up today, that's all we asked of them.

"But I thought not having an in-goal camera was crucial. I just couldn't believe it when we looked upstairs and, in a semi-final, there's no in-goal camera to confirm or deny a try.

"It was a very crucial part of the game and that blows me away."
