It's that time of week where we put our heads on the chopping block with Planet Rugby's predictions from both hemispheres.
Things are reaching fever pitch in the Northern Hemisphere, as we are just a fortnight away from confirming the identity of the playoff contenders and relegated outfits in the PRO12 and Premiership.
South of the Equator, the Lions kick off what appears to be a daunting four-match tour in Hamilton, while the Crusaders welcome a rampant Brumbies side to Christchurch as the playoffs begin to appear on the distant horizon.
With so many games that mean so much in the context of the domestic season, it's a great weekend to splash some cash and get involved with rugby betting.
Let's get started.
Bath v Northampton Saints: Second plays third in the Premiership on Friday with Saints travelling to the Rec to tackle a Bath outfit that have turned plenty of heads this season. Barring a miracle, the hosts will wrap up a spot in the all-important playoffs, but this is likely to be a close-fought match between two even teams. Paddy Power can't decide who the favourites are, rating both at 10/11, but we like their (-3) handicapping of Mike Ford's men, paying out at 13/10. There are a couple of enticing options in the try-scorer markets too, with 14/1 on Ben Foden a particular favourite of ours. Over the piece, we reckon this will be a tight game of few tries and great excitement, with home advantage seeing Bath through by about four points.
Other SuperBruPremiership predictions:
Gloucester v Irish: Gloucester by 5
Wasps v Newcastle: Wasps by 8
Saracens v Worcester: Sarries by 18
Sale v Leicester: Tigers by 3
Exeter v Harlequins: Quins by 8
Treviso v Glasgow: The Warriors head to Italy knowing a home semi-final berth is in their hands. They are the form team of the PRO12, and so far proved unflappable under the pressure of going where no Scottish side has ventured before. They cuffed Treviso in a rearranged fixture at home earlier this year, picking up their first try-bonus point of the season. Four tries at Stadio Monigo would be great, but it won't be easy. If you're looking for a handicap option, cutting the visitors by 11 is a touch adventurous but pays just under twice your stake at 9/5. We also advise you get some cash on Tommy Seymour to score first - the Scotland winger is in great form just now and touched down against Ulster last weekend. 10/1 is a very good price. This fixture is a potential banana skin for Gregor Townsend's charges, but so far, they have proved more than adept at staying on their feet. Glasgow by 12.
Other SuperBru Pro12 predictions:
Scarlets v Dragons: Scarlets by 7
Ulster v Leinster: Leinster by 5
Connacht v Cardiff Blues: Blues by 7
Edinburgh v Munster: Edinburgh by 4
Waratahs v Hurricanes: Title contenders the Waratahs welcome the flying Hurricanes to Sydney on Saturday for what should prove a mouth-watering encounter. Attack, attack, attack is what Mark Hammett's men are all about, and with Israel Folau and Kurtley Beale on the other team, they'll have to defend, defend, defend too. In fact, with so many lethal backs out there, it's tough to pinpoint a first try-scorer. Folau and Julian Savea are your best options at 5/1and 12/1 respectively. You can also get almost 3/1 by handicapping the 'Canes by four points - that's an opportunity you shouldn't pass up while the visitors are in this kind of form. We see them extending their winning run in Sydney in a frenetic, high-scoring, swashbuckling Southern Hemisphere clash. Canes by 6.
