The Sharks have named Pat Lambie at 10 for their Super Rugby semi-final against the Crusaders, with flanker Jean Deysel also starting on Saturday.
Lambie's return to the line-up sees Frans Steyn shift to inside centre which means Paul Jordaan wears 13 and JP Pietersen is on the right wing.
That's the only change in personnel in the Sharks backline and there is also one up front as Deysel replaces the injured Anton Bresler, with Willem Alberts moving into the second-row position to accommodate Deysel's arrival on the flank.
"The Crusaders are a phenomenal team, we're under no illusions of how good they are and what they've achieved, but we have to prepare as best we can to give ourselves a chance," said Sharks director of rugby Jake White ahead of the fixture.
"They have players in their team who won the Rugby World Cup a few years ago, they have guys who are consistently in play-off games, the team hasn't missed out on play-off rugby in a long time, and all these guys have been part and parcel of play-off games, so I have no doubt that with the team they have available and the experience they have, they'll be a massive force."
