The Kings have reverted back to their first-choice halfback combo as Demetri Catrakilis and Shaun Venter return to face the Rebels.
As a result, George Whitehead shifts to full-back whilst Siviwe "Shakes" Soyizwapi and scrum-half Nicolas Vergallo drop to the bench.
Kings director of rugby Alan Solomons said they had fundamentally decided to go with the same team following the 28-28 draw against the Brumbies.
"The structure of the 22 worked really well and the team put on a great performance againt the Brumbies last week," he said.
"The key for us is that we delivered a good performance against the Brumbies and we now want to build on that in the game against the Rebels."
Meanwhile, Kings loose forward Luke Watson and lock Darron Nell will turn out for the Eastern Province Kings in the Vodacom Cup on Friday.
Should they get through that match unscathed, both will be a available for selection when the Kings return from their tour of Australasia.
