Rebels return: Cooper Vuna

The Rebels welcome the return of captain Gareth Delve and wing Cooper Vuna from injury for their Super Rugby hit-out against the Sharks in Durban.

The visitors will be searching for their first win overseas, with the timely returns of the international duo sure to make an immediate impact.

Delve has recovered from a mild shoulder complaint, while Vuna has missed the Melbourne side's opening matches with a scapular injury sustained in a pre-season trial match last month.

Rebels coach Damien Hill has also rewarded promising New Zealand-born winger Jason Woodward with a place in the starting line-up. Woodward, who also hasn't played this season after rupturing a tendon in his finger during training, scored nine tries in his first two seasons for Wellington in the ITM Cup.

"The club is in a great position having players such as Jason and Cooper available for selection," said Hill. "Cooper is renowned for his try scoring ability, while Jason has shown in last season's ITM Cup he is a player of the future.

"Gareth has made an immediate impact since returning. His on and off field leadership will be a great acquisition for this young Rebels side taking the field."
