The Kings have been dealt a big blow ahead of their opening Super Rugby fixture, after losing winger Michael Killian to injury.
Killian broke his arm on Friday during a practice session, with the injury confirmed following x-rays over the weekend.
The winger will now miss the opening game against the Western Force, while is also in doubt for the South African derby with the Sharks.
The 29-year-old has vital Super Rugby experience for his new franchise, having been a regular starter for the Lions.
"Michael has a fracture to the mid third of his radius and will be out for between four to six weeks, which means he will most likely miss out on the opening game against Western Force and most likely the Sharks game as well," said coach Alan Solomons.
