I loved how Cruden made the worlds best 10 look average but I think Michalak was on fire as well...can't we have a tie?

I feel like I have been under a rock for so long, I seriously do not know how I have not noticed JP Pietersons playing ability til now....shame on me...clearly the best winger in the world at the moment.

APV1 -- agree with your comments. Liam Messam is finally getting some praise after all these years of trying too hard maybe. But if you were SBW why would you kick - his running scares the hell out of defences? He is still learning the finer points of rugby anyway so we can expect some skills to be underused.

Looks like someone's hacked APV1's account! Etzebeth smashing through du Plessis was incredible and Bresler has been absolutely phenomenal, from playing just a handful of games last year to every single one this year! Him and Bekker are lightyears ahead of Juandre Kruger now, who looks very much the Pierre Spies now he's not in Northampton - all flash and no smash. New Zealand's locking options look healthy as well with Clarke getting the nod in a week with so many quality second rows in action.

Michalak was absolutely amazing. I agree with papachinzo, everything he did was effortless. The dummy and grubber he attempted early on that didn't quite come off showed some of the outrageous skills we've come to enjoy. Only Carlos Spencer in his pomp would be able to pull off such trickery on the fly. I can only hope we see him in a France shirt soon, watching Parra and Trinh-Duc fumbling their way around at first receiver when they have such brilliant backs is bordering on criminal.

I can't help but feel sorry for TJ Perenara and Andre Taylor, who deserved shots in the Summer series I thought but now seem to have slipped behind Kerr-Barlow and Robinson in the pecking order. Kerr-Barlow looks like he makes life as awkward for the opposition as he makes it easy for Cruden and Robinson is developing into an outstanding counter-attacking fullback. Bring on the final!

Michalak should be 10, both Carter and Cruden looked average. Michalak had an relaxed match, and still made them look bad.

Can someone tell me how many tackles Bresler have done?!?! I lost the counting|! I can see Bresler-Etzebeth for the Bok's team in the RC, they would be amazing together.

Oh alright...

I, personally, felt that Sona Taumalolo's niggling of Richie was great. It was as if he'd been tasked with targeting RMc and was trying to get a rise. And it almost worked, had their teammates not stepped in.

Messam was awesome and had an inspired day at the office and Cruden showed where the future of the AB's 10 lies.

JP Pietersen is one of the best players in the world right now and would walk into any current international starting 15. I might not have him at 13, but he'd be on the pitch.

SBW had his moments and passed more, which was good to see. But some of the passes were a little loose. If he passes more, they'll be crisper and he'll be a better all-round 12. If he can learn to kick better too, he'll surely be the finished product. But he's only got 3 games left before heading to Japan, so I wonder whether he'll ever realise his potential as a truely world-class 12..?

The du Plessis family must have the same diet as the Tuilagi family - a lot of protein! How good are those guys? BdP is probably the best 2 in the world and JdP is no slouch (I do think there are better TH props out there).

How good is the final going to be? An absolute cracker!

Clearly the Saffas have to knock the other teams out before we get our fair share...7 this week and close to 12 next week?

I thought that both Etzebeth and Bekker were outstanding, especially in the loose.

JdP is a penalty machine, luckily he did not get sin binned.

JP Pietersen is lethal, could be the pick for the Boks at 13, after JF.

Could not wait for the final, it will be a cracking match between two deserving teams.
