RuckingKiwi

I am not jealous, as I do not have problems in declaring my respect and admiration to other Kiwi legends.

As far as foul play is concerned, I condemn it from whatever side is from.

The rest of your post is bullsh*t

Yes Carpelone, I would call that jealousy, being a poor loser or many other such things... you tell me? I would say the dozens of referees who have referreed the guy in his 250+ first class games would know best, wouldn't you?

I would say 99% (+) people bend their knees when they get about in everyday day life, except maybe unless you're the Pistorius guy who they let bounce around with titanium legs.. what is it with SA, last Olympics there was an alledged man running with the girls and this time titanium legs, what next?

Anyway, I think a better example of dirty play would be watching Burger with his finger poking into Fitzgeralds eye. Nice.

Just to make sure. I admire Conrad Smith (a genius), Dan Carter (the best flyhalf ever), Izzy Dagg (so elegant with ball in hand). I loved the way king Carlos used to play and Tana, Jonah and Mils. I admit that McCaw is the best in his role for his generation. I do not like his cynical attitude on the pitch towards the ref and the opponents. In my opinion, the knee on Parra's head was deliberate and the Bull player was lucky to escape.

Carpelone, the one thing I would say is I would never say McCaw was 'dirty' in the foul play sense of the word. I saw that Parra knee and did not think it was the cynical act that others did - sure somebody got hurt but that happens when you're between the opposition and the ball. I assume you're fishing when you refer to the reasoning behind his bent right knee - unless you're an expert on biomechanics (which you may very well be) ?

Everybody agrees on how good McCaw is. There must be a reason why is legality is qustioned by non Kiwis. When he dives in the ruck, he always keep his right knee bended forward, to inflict Parra's style injuries. Dirty

I thought McCaw was immense in this game, his work rate and sheer presence at critical times was amazing. I have opinions on his legality and don't want to open that can of worms in this thread (thank you trolls), as I think he is not only superbly skilled but also superb at readings refs and situations. There is no denying that in this game, as in other 'major' games, he steps up. Legend ! (and I'm not a kiwi - married to one who'd divorce me if Richie ever came to town :)

Mr McCaw a lot of credit should go to you sir. Your collaborative leadership and the example you set for your colleagues is what has defined you as a great.

Pierre please teach Genia how to lose graciously.......the Sharks gameplan was just as good if not better then the Crusaders and its a shame Genia didn't acknowledge that. Well played Richie..........
