Does anyone else feel Blackadder has slightly under-achieved as Crusaders coach?

He's put some good perforances down with them, but I think he favours the kicking game far too much. His tactics negate the Crusaders strengths with the ball in hand at times.

"We know exactly what we are going to get. "

Wow. Then there are no excuses.

Blackadder does nothing for me as a coach and I hope he gets nowhere near any AB role ever. For that reason I hope the Crusaders fail, if not this weekend then definitely wherever they play next ; Hamilton or Cape Town.

meneer - just a few Saturdays ago, 30 June, the Hurricanes did exactly that - beat the Crusaders - at home - on a Saturday.

When the Crusaders ran all over the Highlanders I thought they looked unbeatable on the day; before and since they've had too many flaky patches, huge reliance on just a few players, this year's depth not as great as in the past.

Can't see my beloved Bulls winning this one - a stretch too far, but I am impressed that they didn't take the easy Brisbane option. A young team that has done well this season, scored tries and collected bonus point wins. I am confident they will push the Crusaders, but there isn't a team in Super rugby that can beat the Crusaders at home on Saturday.

Hope JJ continues his metioric rise , will smoke Zac & Dagg in straights. Potgieter to ROCK carter , and Hougaard to compound Ellis.

The Saders play best when not defending (except for their counter rucking) , as the Force clearly exposed. Keep ball in hand , support rucks , and bash , only way to trump Saders.

Not to sure if Ludike noticed???

Roll on weekend.

Gosh the "eye gouging" incident. Why did the bulls have to launch a complaint when the incident was already white carded? That's like going to the TMO after a try has already been awarded.

The citing commission went through the videos of the game and couldn't find any evidence it happened, nor any evidence that it didn't happen.

There was claims yet no proof so its 50/50 might have happened, but no one truelly knows, so people should move along.

Still, why launch a complaint AFTER a white card was issued, are you stupid?

@tha_mai and bokbevok, get over it. Both are in the past, neither were categorically proven to be true and neither got apologies. Only difference is the poisoning went a bit further because it was around the final of a RWC. I'm sure that Blackadder has come to the realisation that demanding an apology was equally childish and is mature enough not to hold grudges - unfortunately some supporters are just not that mature.

@tha_mai, that's great coming from a kiwi - need we remind you when you had the lomo factor at 1995 world cup yet when SA won you came out that you had food poisoning. priceless talk about losing with dignity!!!

You are going to need a lot more excuses now paddy o'brian is no longer in charge of referees..

no surprises - hoping that includes no faked eye gouging claims from Bulls at half-time, as per previous match in April. Todd wasn't expecting that little surprise. He won't have forgotten, but never got the apology: "The citing commissioner has reviewed it and after that review there was nothing in the video footage that would point to the allegation being substantiated" "The citing commissioner also found it interesting that the Bulls did not follow through with a complaint within the four-hour window after the game."

I can smell overconfidence in T. Blackadder's interview. M. Steyn has a wonderful boot and provided he can keep the Bulls within reach until the final 30m, they have a big chance. To beat Crusaders, you need to keep attacking them. One of the loosies needs to keep a close watch on D. Carter and smash him in some tackles. BEWARE! of Read's off-loads.

FTM89 says...

The Bulls will most likely not perform well in the scrums...The `saders counter rucking and counter attack from the back will be the key focus point. And the only way the Bulls will win is if Steyn is playing his A game...
