@Stellenbosched2 Hmmm good point but then he doesn't know much about the game in general and he must be the only Australian that rates Colin Meads as "a great". He trying to compare Super players of this week with exceptional players of past decades, the man's an idiot.

I think there is something wrong with my computer monitor because i think I just saw trinats list McCaw as one of the greats....

Hi Trader2,
I think Trinats point is that not a single Bok belongs in the list of former greats......

good selections. keegan daniel just amazes me. far too small to be a number 8 yet he does it somehow and makes a huge impact. just shows that its not always what the scales say that matters. deserves a chance at springboks you would have thought. thought afeaki in his comeback game could have gotten the 3 spot.

Missing Marcel Coetzee's name. Is there anybody that can keep up with him? Schalk Burger move over.

Can everyone please note, that there are 2, yes 2 Force players in the team. I have screen printed and added to my scrapbook.

There were plenty of outstanding performances in the Chiefs vs Bulls match. No SBW in this XV? Ask the Crusaders why their back line is not functioning as well as it was last year.... the simple answer is the absence of SBW.
This selection highlights the difficulty of picking a XV when the quality of some of the matches has been outstanding.

Great team!! I just feel that Gio Aplon should of been fullback in this team,he really did stand up this weekend despite the stormers loss...otherwise I'm loving it! SAVEA IS COOKING,dam I'm happy I'm a allblacks fan now!

Strange list, in that it's mostly no big names, but good to see.
Apart from Pocock, would any of these players start in a world XV ?
When you look at names like the greats of rugby, Horan, Lomu, Eales, Lynagh, Fitzpatrick, Johnson, Campese, Blanco, BOD, McCaw, Farr-Jones, Meads, Hayman, Leonard, Brooke. This team of the week wouldn't even get into the oldies half.

I think SBW, Messam, Latimer and Cruden should be there or at least get a mention...but then again I dedn't watch ALL of the games to know how the others did.

I thought the Beast put in a good performance, surprised not to see him included.
