Weepu is meant to be one of the best SH on the planet and his wage will be suitably large, this guy stood up and pulled the all blacks through the world cup semis. The blues signed a guy of this calibre then he turns up, not just unfit but fat. Its one thing getting match fitness back but shedding the pounds and getting muscle back takes a long time.

its a long season but the blues aren't even in the race, your stars spearheaded by weepu have been a massive flop, tired, uninterested and fat. Perhaps they should have gone to japan then the blues could have signed some guys who are up for this season and were willing to train pre season and turn up switched on and ready to sprint out the blocks.

I agree that the Blues need young fresh players, unfortunately Ranger is not fresh at the moment and his mind wanders during matches....it was a classic moment of 'lost in translation' v the chiefs when blues were kicking for goal and Ranger was caught on camera staring at the groung and 'feeling' his beard lol...he appeared uninterested or simply not in the rugby mood and laughed when one of his players told him he was on tv..

Wow...the blues are having a horror season for injuries and bad signings *cough weepu cough*...They need more young, fresh players like Braid and Ranger.
