@ Jaystarr........

Hard work creates luck !

When the reds were hit by injuries last year they got local players, they didn't do one of the most unsportmanslike picks of the season like the stormers did in bringing in Brits from London !

When it comes to pathetic the Stormers proved last season just how pathetic they really are !!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jaystarr I know you're trying to prove a point and some of them valid too (for example the forwards remaining the same, and still making no difference) .. But don't let your anger cloud your judgement cause you really sound childish.. I'm NOT a Reds supporter but I can admit that the Reds year was last year.. they played good rugby and won.. It really doesnt matter how or why.. They won the 80minute battle week after week (most).. And that's the point.. You can make all the excuses in the world but they did what they set out for.. and that was to win.. Now it's 2012 a different year, players and coaches and it changes everything.. Maybe Reds are the same, maybe other teams have gone much better, maybe Reds have gone worse who knows? But the point is Reds won last year and you can't take that away from them, it's really bad sportmanship and really reflects on your whole character.. I hope I was civil enough for ya'll!!

I heard this "fifth choice fly-half" excuse being thrown around by Greg Growden last night on Re:union as well... as if it's a legitimate excuse for the Reds' poor form.

Well it's not!

The Stormers also went down to their fifth choice fly-half last year while they were being decimated by injuries... and they still managed to finish 2nd on the overall log and made the semi-finals.

So it's no excuse. Especially when considering that their pack is basically untouched by injuries... So what's their excuse for being so poor?

No. The Reds are just being exposed for what I said they were the whole of last year: ridiculously lucky, arrogant posers. EVERYTHING went their way last year - they hardly had any injuries, they were flying under the radar, they won countless games through moments of luck - they had the rub of the green, the bounce of the ball and all of those things the whole season long - including the final (the Crusaders had to fly accross the Indian ocean TWICE in two weeks). The Stormers were decimated by injuries, the Crusaders were in a constant state of jet lag and the Sharks were taken out by better teams - they didn't really get a challenge...

This year they're not getting an easy ride, they can't fly under the radar and they're getting injuries like everyone else... And now all of a sudden they're the most pathetic team in the comp. Mwha ha haaaa I say! Mwha ha haaaaaa......!

'Red's try another ten'. Thought that meant another ten new players.
