@ fiwiboy - thanks!

@ lawynd - my youngest son's 4th birthday tomorow, so a weekend of "fun" planned (aka, very little rugby-watching for me!).

I'll be watching it with my Cornflakes, so shall keep an eye on the Incredible Hask.

APV1, Haskell has been playing No 6 since he joined the Highlanders and it appears suited to him. Having said that, Adam Thomson as a 6 frequently roves out wide as well (a la Rocky Elsom) although he'll get into the tight stuff as well (unlike Elsom).

Haskell has fitted in well since he joined the Highlanders (his first game came two days after getting off the plane from Tokyo!!); his hard grafting style suits the Highlanders to a tee. In the game against the Crusaders, he was VERY pumped and started to give away some silly mistakes. Can fault the discipline but not the execution.

3 of the 4 Highlanders games were NZ derbies which were fast and open. As a blindside in a NZ team against other NZ teams, I have no doubt he is learning how to play like an openside and even No 8!!

I will be interested to see how he adjusts back to NH rugby once his stint in NZ finishes.

Haskell at 6..? Is this one of those where the numbers confuse me and 6 is the openside? Or is he now on the blind? I fear he'll become a "utility" back row, as I've known him to play 6, 7 and 8.

I won't be able to watch the match. Please could someone let me know (objectively!) how he gets on? We're expecting him back in England soon(ish), so it'd be nice to know how he's doing. Ta muchly!
