New London Irish back-row Tom Guest has stated that coming up against his old team Harlequins in the first match is the perfect start.
Guest has made the short move across London to join the Exiles, with England winger Marland Yarde moving in the opposite direction.
Both will get to face their former clubs in the first game of the season at Twickenham in the Double Header, with Saracens taking on London Wasps.
"It is the dream game really - especially as it's the first game, and at Twickenham. Hopefully we'll get a good start to the season," Guest told getReading while also revealing his reasons for joining Irish.
"I've sent a couple of photos of me wearing the Irish kit and [his former team-mates] given me a bit of stick about it. It will be good fun to play against them.
"I really liked the plan and the vision Smithy [Brian Smith] came up with and what he was saying about the new training ground and where the club want to be.
"I'd been in at the beginning with Quins as they climbed to the top and I want to make that journey again - that feeling of helping take a team to where they want to be. That's the main reason for me coming here.
"The main thing was being in a team setting out on the beginning of the road and what I could bring to that and how I want to be involved and take that forward.
"We have a great opportunity to make a mark this year and set ourselves up well for the next few years."
