Star England full-back Mike Brown has given Stuart Lancaster cause for concern after he limped off in Saturday's Premiership semi-final.
The Premiership Player of the Season dotted down in Harlequins' 31-17 loss to Saracens at Allianz Park, but was forced off the field in the final minutes.
Lancaster's injury woes are mounting, and with Saracens and Northampton Saints now contesting the final, a host of top players are to miss out on the opening stages of the June tour to New Zealand.
"Hopefully, it is just a little twinge," said Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea.
"It was hot out there, and the surface is different to what we are used to playing on.
"It's a twinge, I hope, nothing more, but we will see after the next couple of days. He has got a few weeks until that first Test in New Zealand. Hopefully, he is alright."
