Bath Academy graduate Chris Cook has committed to the Premiership outfit for a further 12 months, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
"I'm delighted to stay at Bath," said Cook. "I started my career here, and to be part of this club as it looks to continue developing over the coming seasons is a really exciting opportunity for me."
A strong and combative scrum-half, Cook has great potential, with quick hands and the ability to create attacking opportunities from nothing. He was a key member of the Aviva A League winning Bath United side who beat Northampton Wanderers in December, and has enjoyed a successful loan period gaining valuable game time with Cornish Pirates, and is currently part of the London Welsh squad fighting for promotion to the Premiership.
"Cookie is a very talented young player, and we're looking forward to helping him to improve and hone the skills he already has to make him even better," added head coach Mike Ford.
