Saracens back-row forward Kelly Brown hailed the shift put in by his team-mates after their 26-8 Aviva Premiership win over Worcester.
The Allianz Park outfit picked up the fastest try bonus-point of the English season when they scored four tries in 28 minutes at Sixways.
And despite neither team claiming a point in the second-half, Brown was pleased with his side's performance as they stayed top going into 2014.
"It was a real team effort today," the Scotland international forward told Saracens' website.
"In the first half our attack was very very good and after half-time we needed to be little bit more tighter in defence.
"In saying that, I didn't think we needed to let them have the ball for the majority of the second half but I though we fronted up very well."
Brown added: "We have a relatively poor record here at Sixways, so to come away with the bonus point win is very pleasing."
