Returning: Ian Humphreys

London Irish fly-half Ian Humphreys is keen to re-establish himself in the Exiles lineup after missing four weeks with a broken hand.

The pivot made only his sixth appearance of the season on Friday as Irish went down 15-3 to Sale Sharks, a groin injury also having hindered his game-time early in the season.

"It was nice to get back and play again, it's been a frustrating couple of weeks and it feels like my season has been a bit stop start," said Humphreys.

"Last season I was injured early on but after the first five games I didn't pick up any knocks. Hopefully now I can push on and do the same for the rest of the season.

"It's very frustrating, especially at 10 to get the communications going with your number nine when you keep stop starting with injuries all the time.

"It's about getting a run of games together, getting that rhythm and getting those player calls and moves back.

"It's not great when the 10 is changing all the time. Although saying that we have Shane Gerraghty and Milo (Myles Dorrian), who are two other guys who can all play that position very well. From my perspective it's just about getting a bit of form together."
