Leicester chief executive Simon Cohen is calm over the future of Toby Flood, backing the fly-half to talk to the club when he is good and ready.
The 28-year-old international's current contract expires at the end of the Premiership season, with clubs set to be circling for his signature.
However, Cohen is confident that Flood will soon talk to the Welford Road outfit about extending his stay, playing down any fear of him moving on.
"I'm relaxed because we trust Toby enough to talk to us when the time is right," Cohen told BBC Radio Leicester.
"We will do everything we can to persuade him to stay, but we are not pushing him.
"When the time is right and he feels in a settled place then he will come and talk to us. Hopefully that will result in him staying."
