George North trained with Northampton for the first time this week and the winger admits he has to adapt quickly.
North and Alex Corbisiero, who is also a new signing at the club, reported for training after an extended break following their involvement on the British and Irish Lions' tour to Australia.
The 21-year-old got his first taste of rugby life in England after making the move from Scarlets and he concedes there were some nerves heading into the new challenge.
"It's been short and sharp getting back into pre-season," he told Northampton's official website. "It's been nice to finally get in with the boys properly and I'm really happy to be here now.
"I've been a bit nervous; in some ways it's been like starting at a new school. But it's nice to be training and it's a good environment with the rest of the players."
It's not all new for North though, with the English-born player having relatives in the area.
"It's been really helpful," the winger commented of his family. "My sister Hayley lives in Northampton as well and that was a big reason why I came here.
