Gloucester fly-half Freddie Burns is hoping for more England appearances this term to go with helping push the Cherry and Whites into the top four.
Burns played a key role in the recent international victories over Argentina and admits he now has a real taste for the Test arena going into 2013/14.
"I have huge ambition with England over the next two years with the World Cup coming," the back told The Citizen, looking ahead to RWC 2015.
"Of course I want to be involved in those autumn internationals, but I know that comes off the back of playing well for Gloucester, so that's my main aim and my main focus.
"Hopefully I can get a good start. I definitely want to keep pushing but I'm not looking at anything other than getting a good start, doing a good pre-season, and if that's right then hopefully I'll be knocking on the door for England."
