Harlequins pivot Ben Botica is making the most of the opportunity he has received since replacing injured former All Blacks fly-half Nick Evans.
The 23-year-old said there was no pressure on him at the Premiership champions and he was enjoying his time in the XV while he could.
"I didn't feel any pressure coming in for Nick," Botica told the Rugby Paper.
"He's a great player but we are different players in the way we approach the game.
"I'm just trying to play my game and do as well as I can for Quins while I get the chance."
Botica said he was proud of the achievements of his father, former All Black Frano Botica - who also played league for Wigan and Castleford - and if he could do half of what his father had done he would be a happy man.
"But I'm my own person and I want to achieve my own things," he added.
"If the coaches are not happy with my game, we can sit down and discuss it but so fat they're pretty happy."

Don't be too surprised to see a red rose in the future-not playing in NZ, Cruden Slade, Brett, and young Tom Taylor to get past (?and others??). May decide on the big money in the white shirt-playing really well at present!!
Passport or not! Lol
